Excellent news. I feel like this will be a good thing.
Me, being me, had some evil thoughts when I think how well Ruger and Lipsey's work together.
The number of limited issues of special guns makes tears come to my eyes.

Excellent news. The number of limited issues of special guns makes tears come to my eyes. Made me LOL right there, but I'm eagerly expecting many good things as well! As some others have mentioned, I've wanted an 1894 stainless in .45 Colt for > 20 years!

Wonder if that means NO marlins for awhile with another horrific moving of personal and equipment ? According to the email that I got, Ruger will be moving all the assets to one of their factories. There was no real estate with the sale. So yeah, it will probably be a little while.

What I read is that Ruger is the high bidder but the deal has not been finalized.

An 1894 in 327 Federal and 22 Magnum wouldn't hurt my feelings for sure.
A 336 in 357 Maximum would be awesome as you fellows already posted.

I had always hoped Ruger would bring back their lever action in 327. doubt that will happen now but if they make Marlin great again and introduce some unique models then Iād be happy.

The only rifle I own is an AR15, and I have it "just because". But a nice lever Marlin in either 25-20 or 357 Maximum would be a real hoot!!

What I read is that Ruger is the high bidder but the deal has not been finalized. You can read the court record, the deal was completed and signed 9-29-2020. Hence Ruger then issued their statement. This is really good news.
