They are just the high bidder. It still has to be approved by the bankruptcy court. The way things work, you may be waiting awhile

Would just like to see a factory made 39A again honestly.... none of this “custom shop only” hoopla.

I don't believe it's a done deal yet.
But, I'm hoping the deal gets approved and the Marlin Brand has a future.

Remigton arms group rapes and pillages firearms companies... Ruger knows how to play the long game so it will be interesting to see how this works out. I personally would be a little more excited to buy a marlin from ruger then Remington.

Wow, the synergy between two companies that produce a lot of "Cowboy" guns could awesome. Imagine, rifle & revolver combo packages, etc.....

I'd like a reasonably priced lever gun in 480 ruger or 475 Linebaugh.

I'd like a reasonably priced lever gun in 480 ruger or 475 Linebaugh. Ditto. Chasing down a 480 SS Puma is almost impossible 357/414 supermag lever since we are wishin. Appropriately sized....

This IS great news. I have been on three bankruptcy creditors committees' and I do not think for an instant this will not be accepted by the committee and then the presiding judge. Perhaps now they will produce an adequate quantity of those fine lever action rifles in an abundance of calibers. Seems like a good move from Ruger.
