R.G. Wilson of Fulton, Michigan started making those in the late 1950's. I have the original magazine article from '62. I can dig it out, scan, and post it if anyone is interested. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"

I've handled the buffalo arms revolver... & my retired buddy built one from scratch that was way better balanced than anything else I had seen... he had gifted it to his daughter as he got too old to want to shoot it any more... sadly it was stolen along with several other guns, ammo & coins... a couple years ago... you guys ever see a custom nicely blued ( looks like a Ruger Maximum ) with a unique serial in 45-70... I'd love to hear about it or see pictures... expect if the thief had half a brain, they would have tossed that one in a lake... which would be a shame for sure...

I don't think I'd drop $571 on something that rustic. Unique, to say the least.

Looks like it was a "lunch-box" gun - surely an employee at the manufacturer "liberated" it before it reached the Fit & Finish Room!
