Hey Dick,
Sorry to hear about the reschedule. When I had my heart surgery last fall, they required I go off Zarelto blood thinner three days before the surgery. They had me inject myself twice daily with a quick acting blood thinner instead.
I had never injected myself and it was quite a learning experience. The first nurse said inject into the stomach; my gawd was that WRONG. You really pinch some fat and inject into surface layer. I practiced on an orange with a syringe I had from the dentist for cleaning gums. I used ice on the area for a few moments and went in slowly. It was easy. There are some good videos. The anticipation was much worse than the event.
I'm guessing that's what they have you doing as well.
The advances in cardiology in the last ten years have been amazing. Cardiologist used to be plumbers. Now they are also electricians.
I waited a year trying to deal with my AFIB through meditation, on almost a daily basis. For a year, I was either waiting for it to start, or waiting for it to end. I started meditation almost 50 years ago and I finally found my heart. Through meditation, I was able to drop my heart rate from 150bpm to under a 100bpm, which is the criteria to go to the Emergency Room. With the amount of motivated practice I had in a year, I shoulda been the friggin Buddha.
I wish I had gone in at the start, now. The cardiac ablation surgery was easy and successful. I've had nine months and no AFIB's; none. Whatever they're doing for you, I'm sure it's going to be great. "We have the technology. We can rebuild him." Is no longer just a line from the Six Million Dollar Man.
Your job is to keep smiling and stay positive. Family, family, family.

Of course I knew about Google, as everyone does I guess to an extent, but I didn’t know to what depth it went. I use Bing for a search engine, but like Snyd, I have no idea if they do what Google does, but I suspect that they all do to some extent. “The love of money is the root of all evil” says the Bible, and they are all in it to make the most money that they can.

Gentlemen I myself am not a fan of these type of sights, Facebook, Myspace, Snap chat, ETC. Several reasons, one i watch these kids and their friends play mindless, un productive games all day long. Just the other day at a large oil tool company whos machinery i was repairing at the time, Had offered one of their young employees to give me a hand. I obliged. After an hour or so of watching him continually looking at his iphone and not paying attention to what we were doing, i ended up asking him if he had good hearing because if i saw him bury his head in that dam smart phone one more time i was going to insert it in his behind.
He said to me in a very smart elic tone. well dont you have a facebook? Dont you keep up with all of your old friends and what they are doing? I told him no i dont, IM AN ADULT! i HAVE BEEN MARRIED TO THE SAME WONDERFUL WOMAN NOW FOR OVER THIRTY YEARS and i dont care what sally sue rotten crotch who i dated forty years ago is doing! We are not together for a reason! I have seen so many divorces over the last ten years because of this dam social media crap! People rekindling old defunct relationships and ruining the one they currently had all in the name of one upance! Its sickening. I watch kids go out on a date and both of them text each other from across the table. or comparing there data i guess. Haha. Me and Karmens first date was Dinner and a movie then four hours in front of her parents home just talking and getting to know each other, and our second date the next night was at an airport watching jets take off and talked on the hood of my car till 5 in the morning and our third the night after that was dinner and riding the Galveston ferry back and forth and the smell of the ocean and just talking till it was time to go to work again that morning. I knew more real information about that young Girl in four days than any of these kids could figure out in a month because we made eye contact and spoke from the head and heart. Not from a dam fake app on their stupid phone. We were engaged in four months, Married five months after that and had our first child of three, 9 months complete from our wedding night.Honey moon baby! Cant wait to see her when i get home tonight. You cannot have an honest conversation on these dam SM platforms because it turns into a who can out do each other the most contest and its all a bunch of bunk. Not to mention the fact that i made the mistake onetime of going to the internet to find the physical address of Billy Meyers Race track in ennis texas. A place i had driven to a thousand times but a friend wanted to know how to get there. I just typed in Dallas Drag Races. OMG! I got a pile of pictures of some of the prettiest Men you have ever seen, hahahahaha, OOOOOPS Wrong Drags man! Definately not what i was looking for. LOL. But then for the next several months i got advertisements for every Drag queen show from here to Sodom and Gamorrah. Not my gig man. They chase your every move on the internet and it just pisses me off to no end.
I like this forum. Its full of very Knowledgeable, gentlemen all, Serious enthusiasts of the single action community. And from what i have seen so far with all of you, You have your head on straight. I can dig that. R Ps, Not the word of God, Just my experience.

So much for that whole 'hit the back button and move on' thing. Ha.
It's funny to me that some of y'all think that since you're not on Facebook specifically, you're somehow protected. This open forum is a form of social media too. Also, now that 4473s are digital, guess what, your information is 'out there'. Unless you live in the sticks with no internet usage, you're accessible...

If you leave the house somehow somebody is getting your info. If you search for anything, somebody has a copy of it somewhere. What amazes me about FB and such is the amount of money made on advertisements. Who would have ever thought huh?

Per RW’s post, I signed up for Social Security on the internet several years ago simply because I didn’t want to go sit in their office for two hours waiting. I immediately began to get all kinds of emails geared toward seniors. From reverse mortgages to viagra, I got it all. So, old Uncle Sam sells your info too. It’s impossible to escape cyber scrutiny in today’s world.
BTW Ronnie, I did laugh out loud at the “drag queen” reference. :-)
