All of the powder mfgs. post their loading data on line, it might save you enough money to buy a wrist brace. Your gonna need it.

It's not all about trusted recipes - although that could be the single most important reason for a manual. Some have posted that you need to read it. That's right its not just a reference manual for the loading tables. Learn about cases: Rimmed rimless, rebated, etc. Learn about head separation and mouth splitting. Learn about primers: boxer, Berdan, etc. Learn about powder: it's history, types(stick, ball, etc.). Learn about step-by-step single stage handloading - what to do, what not to do, what to be looking out for.

Back issues of Handloader magazine can be had. Find ones with articles on your cartridge. There maybe more than one. The yearly magazine-like Hodgdon Annual is a favorite of mine. As mentioned, when down to a favorite bullet, that makers book worthy. Does anyone have a name, or link to those cartridge specific pamphlet types ? I'd be interested in some myself. You cannot have enough data at your finger tips, nope nope nope.
