I won a Gunbroker auction for this on the weekend. Finally found one unfired after kicking myself for not getting one when it was introduced. Does anyone actually own this model? This is the one with front XS sight and black micarta grips. How is the action? Accuracy? Thoughts?

I did, but I recently sold it. It's a great gun. Decided I'd rather have a stainless Vaquero instead.

I love mine. Hated the sights and replaced them immediately. Gun is tight and accurate.

I got a Lipsey's 5 1/2" Bisley S7 last December at SAR's show in Phoenix. I got what I think is a rare lemon.
It had to go back to the mothership almost immediately for interior of the chambers looking like it had circular chatter marks up and down every cylinder. Brass expanded to the shape of the cylinder and would then not eject. The heavy 5 lb. SA trigger was gritty as well. The hammer became twice as hard to pull back half way through the arc. You could see through the grips to the metal edges.
It came back from Ruger with 3 lb SA, and smooth trigger. No hickups in the hammer. Really nice grips fit to frame. A new cylinder looked like it had a mirror polish in it. Once again, Ruger CS comes through.
I believe now, it is a nice shooter. It was a PITA, but worth it in the end.

If this is the 5 1 / 2 " barrel bisley, then yes I own one, I know it's a limited edition, but wasn't sure about Lipsey. I put in a 30 oz trigger return spring, and it's been a great little shooter, the sights could be better, maybe a fiber optic front sight, but haven't found one yet, Ruger sells the front and rear combo for single six, but says doesn't fit single seven, I think you'll be pleased with it. I like H110 with a 100 gr xtp at max load.

I think this is the 4 5/8" ultra light aluminum grip framed gun. All and all a nice package, I prefer the Bisley and I have 2 different Single Sevens in that configuration but to each their own. That ultra light model would be a dandy of a packing gun...

I went with Fermin's front sight and a narrow notch white outlined rear blade. Took 5 minutes and works much better for my eyes. But, lots of options out there. You can put a fiber optic front sight made for a Browning Buckmark and leave the V-Notch rear if you want.
