My good buddy Fermin worked his magic again & built me a front sight, custom made for my S&W 16-4 32 H&R magnum that is perfect in every way. He duplicated the original except he narrowed it to 1/10" cross checkered the front, made it a patridge style (I still call it partridge) & blued it & got it back to me in 10 days & I shot it yesterday for the first time, it's sweet! That little bit of extra daylight really helps! If you have old eyes & need a little help this is the raspberries for a sharper sight picture, especially on the shorter barreled guns. My little 4" 32 magnum is going to be shot a lot all summer now that I've got it back. The Ground Squirrels are out heavy now & I have lots of 32 magnum HP's loaded up, it's time to thin the herd. I am envious of that gun my friend, the 4” is a real dream gun for me but I have never seen one for sale when I had the money.

I've loving it Bob, thanks! Shot a couple of Ground Squirrels & one Rock Chuck with it yesterday but the Chuck fell down in the rocks. Really going to enjoy this sight. I need to buy a small drill bit, right now it's just glued in, it's a very tiny hole. Sure gives me a better sight picture. When it quits raining I'm going to send a lot of Ground Squirrels to that grassy pasture in heaven.

I think that’s the smallest drill bit I have ever used to drill the sight Fermin made for me.

Dick...now I feel bad for selling you that gun...it will be getting all the attention and all the others will be left to rust....

No Bob, there's always a 41 magnum lurking somewhere in the truck. Actually there's a 8 shot 327 in there, a Browning Hi Power & an XP100 in 223 Ackley also. A guy has to be prepared! But that sweet little 32 magnum you sold me is getting most of the attention right now. I do have a drill bit in my parts box, #54 that will work but I'll take it up to my son's place & have him drill it on the milling machine for me. That .o55" size drill bit scares me a "bit". If a stranger looked in my truck they would think I was a bank robber or something, I have 14 boxes of ammo in there.

With you showing your new front sight got me thinking about one of my S&W revolvers Dick. I called Fermin today and am sending my front sight so he can get the measurements he wants from it before be makes mine. All I can say is mine was a bear to take off!

Under the back seat is stuffed, both back floor compartments are stuffed, there is one 12 gauge, a 30-06, a 224 Valkyrie AR, my thermal AR 300 Blackout, my CETME, at LEAST 4 handguns, the list goes on. Fermin made me a similar sight for my 3 3/4 inch Bisley Blackhawk but I have yet to try it out. He does wonderful work.

I remember shooting with you once when your ammo was still in the truck and you had to shoot mine. Same load so it all worked fine.
