Found this going through some of the ammo dad had stashed away. Thought it was rather funny finding this with everything going on right now. Criminal acts and riot control. Thanks, Jonathan

VERY NICE INDEED. HAVE ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT SNAKE SHOT WOULD BE A GOOD DETERRENT FOR 2 LEGGED SNAKES SO WHEN I CARRY A SNAKE SHOT ROUND IN A REVOLVER I AM OK WITH IT BEING THE FIRST UP.

Vmaxspat: Not sure on the date but I think you are in the ballpark with 70’s
Bula: Just went and looked again, and it has no information about shot size, payload or velocity.
Thanks,
Jonathan

Those are so cool!! Thanks for sharing the pics.
Speer has some new ones out that have number 6 shot for more penetration in the bigger critters.

Bet the .44 magnum holds a bunch of shot!
I just got some dies that form .45ACP shot shells out of .308 brass.
Supposed to be able to shoot them in a 1911 and reuse them.
Should be cool!

I'd like further info too. Shot size, payload, velo ? I'm pretty sure they were #9 shot. Don't know the charge weight.

Remembering using 445 sm cases, resized in homemade dies and shot them in a 44 magum after i cannibalize a few 12 gauge skeet cartridges😀 No really dangerous snakes in sweden but i ”hate” snakes, venom or not😡 iam going propably to hell but cant resist to shoot them, drive over them or just beat them to death with a stick😂

12 gauge double ought buck works for my needs in a pump shotgun.
