I know this thread is more towards 1911's, but I just had to have a 9mm Tanfoglio Witness Elite Limited a few years back. Mine came through Patriot Defense with their work done as part of the deal. I know they didn't touch slide to frame fit or possibly the fit of the barrel, but that 9mm just flat out shoots (and feels good while shooting). Not quite to the level of my 3 gun 2011 from Triangle Shooting Sports, but amazing for the money. Must be the slide and frame rail set up. I understand the CZ's are some fine shooters too, and may jump on a CZ Custom Shop Shadow 2 in time.
Though I don't own a RRA 1911 yet, I always read how accurate they were and that the cost was really reasonable then they focused on AR's. Glad they're back making those fine 1911's. A Les Baer is, well, a Les Baer. I've always considered them like a Freedom Arms revolver. Tight, tight, tight. If you want it another way, well buy something else. I'm sure there's a Les Baer 1 1/2" guarantee gun that won't shoot to the guarantee, but I suspect it'll still do 2".
The Burton 1911 up above is like all his work, just about perfect.
Zeus, you are an enabler plain and simple. You have no shame!

It’s really geared towards any pistol platform. I have a CZ PCR with work done by Cajun Gun Works. They are a CZ custom shop, just a different flavor. I was going to get another CZ variant by Cajun Gun Works but Zeus talked me into a DW Guardian 38 Super.
I just saw where a Sig P210-Carry will soon be available. It’s SAO without a beavertail safety. Maybe it’s just my unfamiliarity but I feel better about a SAO that has a beavertail safety. So I’m still leaning towards the DW in the 38 Super. The DW 4” bull barrel ECP in 9mm looks nice, too.
