I prepped a bunch of .357 brass, Time to try out the true blue, Load data.com has magnum loads up to 10 plus grains. And Special loads with the same powder, with a 140 grain bullet, i will load them to roughly 1000fps, That should be very light and comfortable. I will put paper targets on a box, and shoot at fairly short range, And when My 44 special gets here, probably about wednesday , I will load some 200 grain bullets light, for that one too, my brass might not get here in time to shoot it this weekend, I need to see the bullets group close together. Point of impact is less significant in regards to elevation Then windage due to the light loads taking longer to clear the muzzle. I will Bring 25 or 30 warmer rounds and Shoot 5 of them every so often, I hope i enjoy it half as much as i did the warm loads i shot Sunday, I am sort of an impact guy, i like activities where things wack together hard, both as an observer and as a participant. I used to love the feel of a a hard thrown ball on my bat, Went to the driving range and got no charge at all out of hitting a golf ball. Never played a round, i like ice Hockey , better than soccer , for some reason basketball is cool. But in general i don't like soft things for entertainment. I like things that smash ! But i want to be a better shot so i will listen to those that are. But if is boring ,to me, my mind will be elsewhere, and the frustrating part is i have about zero control over it ! ...tj
