Surprised at the high bid so far... if that barrel were an inch or two longer, I'd be bidding right now. Still thinking about it... seems like a good price for gun with options, grips, and engraving...

I was tempted to keep it going!..really tempted, but I watched it go. I feel indifferent about the engraving, but definitely want a 3.5”

I didn't bid. I liked the engraving, ebony grips, round butt, and adjustable sights. Did not notice if it had action job and didn't see test target. Good with caliber. Didn't like the barrel length. If it had had a barrel length some where between 4" and 6", I would have bid higher than the amount for what it sold.

A lot of money for something that isn't exactly what you want.
I wonder if the seller had a shadow bidder driving up the price in that the "buy now" was $3,400.

My $0.02 worth ... I’m happy that someone got what they wanted for what they were willing to pay. I did not bid. I probably would have if it didn’t have that “masterful” engraving; maybe the pictures didn’t do it justice. That’s a great revolver in a handy configuration.

For what it went for, one could not buy a new one at wholesale...without the engraving.

I would like to have one like it in .41spl. I'd settle for one in .41 Magnum as they won't make one for a non SAAMI caliber........

A FA 97 in .41 Magnum is is actually a good thing when wanting to use .41 Special as the lead into the throats are so short and tight a Keith bullet most of the time won't chamber.
