I made two deployments over there myself. Have been all the way from Kuwait to Afghanistan and all points in-between. Prayers for your entire family.

Well guys, you prayed them home again. Remington got back into NM today and Ashly should arrive at the base about 1400 hours tomorrow. They were both in Afghanistan. Strek is slated to land in Vegas on the 21st of this month back from Iraq.
Thanks for remembering them and praying for them while they were gone.

Just got word there was a slight setback on Strek getting home on the 21st. When he went last spring the entire group had to quarantine In tents for two weeks in Kuwait before hitting the base in Iraq.
Whoever was in charge of the replacement squad decided they could trust all the guys to quarantine at home for 2 weeks before leaving and go straight to the mission. Apparently someone in the group didn’t do that and as soon as they hit the Iraq base they tested positive for COVID 19. The result is the entire replacement group is now quarantined for 2 weeks there in the field so Strek and all his guys have to stay on alert and on station for at least 2 additional weeks. Tough news to my daughter and REALLY tough on the 6 yo grandson who was counting down days until daddy comes home.

I just got word that the lady nine guys in Strek’s group were able to make it to Kuwait in time to catch the rotator flight back to the US. He k OK Andes in Germany a few minutes ago and takes off in an hour for Baltimore then in to Vegas. They should be home about mid day tomorrow. This has been one long wait due to COVID cases, broken planes and tight schedules but it looks like it is finally happening. Once home h will have to quarantine at home for two weeks which my grandson will love!

Good to hear, the family time that people have gotten from all of the home confinements has been one huge silver lining from this pandemic S-show. We have all been on the go for so long we forget to actually spend time together...

Just got a picture of my 6 year old grandson wrapped up in his daddies' arms at the airport. Thank you all for helping pray him home! All three are back now!

AFSO has saved my sorry ass many times in many places I "have never been to, never heard of ,and have no idea what you are talking about". During Ranger school and Q's we often heard that if you wanted it easy you should have joined the Airforce. But when you are really in the mix and it ain't looking good that radio call from Specter calling a clearing run with Ospreys in bound while you're trying to just keep your best friend alive is the blessing you were praying for. They are always in my prayers. And thank them for me.
