it would be cool as heck in a Single six ! length should work, Pressure is pretty high, I sure think it would work in a Blackhawk, or a GP100, It has a sharp shoulder, and short neck, like the Reeder cartridges, Small critters, Would not like the idea at all !...tj

I'm sure it could be built, and made to work. Would it be cost feasible??? Most likely not. A rimless caliber, combined with a bottleneck design, AND the fact that much of the brass/ammo in 5.7 has a coating that caused issues in the FN handguns,, create problems. Reloading,, the small rim has a history of hard to reload too.
All it takes is money & time.

I would think the noise off that thing would require plugs and muffs.

ok, i was unaware of the coating thing, Does Star line make the Brass ? the rimless would likely rule out the GP100, but a single six or blackhawk, would solve that. Cost , would be there for sure, It would probably not do any better than the 22 K Hornet as Chamberd by Gary reeder, and much less the 218-B. ( now thats got to be loud) but fun ! it was just a passing thought, it mihgt do what the jet was supposed to do, ...tj

I have another Bisley in 5.7 x 28/22K hornet six shot. 6.5" Barrel. Ill take a pic when i get a chance. Im building one for my nutty friend ( seven shooter) out of a SBH with the new 1860 Grip Frame. Havent noticed sticking yet, but i shoot more Hornet than anything else. Ronnie

I read so many bad things about it in the seventys and eightys i guess i just dint get around to it bud! Saw a smith in it once though! I owned a Smith Model 53 and everything you heard was right. The second shot was difficult and the third shot would bind the cylinder. It was however, total hell on any varmint up to 125 yards. (That’s when I could see like an eagle). Coyotes, skunks, and feral house cats went down ! I wound up shooting much more .22 LR via the inserts than I did the Jet. Couldn’t afford them for one thing, and my bro in law couldn’t reload them fast enough either. :-) You almost had to wash the cases in white gas to get the lube off and there better not be a hint of lube in the chambers. I loved that gun though, and have kicked myself plenty for not getting a .22 LR cylinder fitted to it. I was a stupid teenager, what can I say ?

What's not to like? I think it's pretty cool and if it slings little chunks of lead fast and accurate...win/win.

Well now , my Question answered and in a very coler full and entertaining way too, I like the grip frame on that thing ! Not to fond of the grips , but the frame is cool ! ...tj Ya know ive been thinkin about making that G frame in alum just for kicks and giggles. I started making that panel in the eighties cuz it was so expensive to buy from the knife guys. I would take magic markers apart and steel the wick out of them. Drop each color in a bottle of rubbing alcohol. Then pour the colored solution in to a pan with thin planed sheets of arizona ash. dry it in an oven. vacuum soak it in a polyresin that had been designed for oil tool assembly's. Then mash it together in layers and cook it ! It was so tough and durable, but fun to make. Then a company in new england named diamond wood started producing an affordable version on mass and i started buying it from Texas Knife makers in the late eighties. In about 2015 the place burned down and that was the end of that. Now im back to micarta and my taste has reverted back to real wood which i stabilise in a vacuum chamber. But i still have a butt load of the stuff in multiple colors. R
