Is there a link anywhere to the 45 Colt Bowen built pistol that Ross Seyfried took to Australia? It was I believe in the mid -90’s. Thanks

I DON'T RECALL THIS ONE BUT THERE WAS A LINEBAUGH CUSTOM TO AFRICA FOR BUFFALO IN THE EARLY '80s.

The Australia trip is in the DEC 1989 G&A, where he took a Linebaugh 475.

Thanks for the links.
Ross Seyfried's articles have cost me tens of thousands of dollars over the years.

Ross did in fact take a Bowen .45 Colt to Australia for testing and he discussed it in his “.45 Colt vs. .44 Mag” article found in the January 1995 issue of G&A. I seem to remember him discussing it elsewhere, too, but I haven’t had time to look for it. I’m not sure if this particular article is among the links provided or not but if it isn’t, I can get it posted later in the week.

Forgot to mention that the revolver Ross used was a standard factory 7 1/2” Bisley fitted with a 5-shot cylinder and a “prototype” Bowen adjustable rear sight.

A special cylinder, *especially* a special 5-shot cylinder, makes a whole lot of difference.
