For the great .41 mag recipe ! I loaded the 250 grain GT hollow point over 9.2 Grains of Unique, Great load, I had been firing a 240 grain GT swc over 1st 15.5 grs of 2400 then 17.5, They shot well and were not brutal by any means but they were definitely powerful . Funny thing is i could not feel the difference between the 15. 5 or the 17.5. I think max is 18.3. But no need to mess with that. The unique load was great , and just tore up the thick tree limb i was shooting at. I had a ball and so did my friend. I had both my .41s on hand The Tyler custom Bisley was much easier to shoot well then the 4 5/8 Blackhawk. Mostly the trigger, and the Narrow patridge Garza front sight. I think that Hollow point would be dandy on deer but i will try a solid flat point for Elk. The 250 grain Hollow point has a huge nose cavity and is a very long bullet, a good solid crimp is a must. You are very close to the muzzle end of the Cylinder, Thanks again Ben ! ...tj
