Thanks long cylinder BFR's are just ugly as sin! If they really want to move some guns, they need a smaller frame to compete with the FA 97. I'd be all over one of those...

Agreed. They are hideous to look at but some shooters have a use for those long cartridges.

Interesting concept, but I really don't like the grip configuration at all..
YMMV

That long cylinder kills it for me. I'll stick with my 6.5" out of the Performance Center even though it has a brake.

A man has to know his limitations..mine fall a bit short of those rounds in those guns. Thumpers for sure.

I would take a 45-70 in one of those guns. Something to make use of the long cylinder

Pointless flame thrower. That much case capacity without an appreciably long barrel in which to burn the powder, is a recipe for inefficiency and senseless drama.
All blow and no go, as it were.

Every body has there own idea of fun, and the only thing fun about the 500 smith and wesson for me is stand back and watching other people shoot them. I have never seen anybody even look the least bit like there were having any fun at all. The only exception was a guy who had loaded his way down, and i fired that one myself. It was a hoot, But just not my cup of tea !
