I just bought my 2nd .41 mag, Mine is not near so nice as BamaGregs, My 1st is also av 5.5 inch Bisley ! The new one is a 1984 4 5/8ths, I have bullets coming from GT and Matt's so i can load them up and try her out, I love my Bisley, after Bobby Tyler Slicked it up for me. This one is to be my side arm, for hunting and just woods time. Will probably get a few things done, But this one will be a work horse ! ...tj3006

I went my whole life with the attitude of "what can a 41 do that my 44's can't do better?" Still not sure I know the answer to that question but thanks to the enablers on this site I now have acquired two 41 Mag Blackhawks in the last few months. You guys are getting me in trouble

When it comes to full power load ,the .41 is les pounding on my aging carcass, and still plenty of power for hunting, anything short of a grizzly, or maybe a Moose, And personally i think a 44 is bit light for a grizzly too, Also it,s cool cause only gun savvy people have them ! ...tj3006

I've always liked the oddball calibers that you don't see very often. A lot of younger folks have never even heard of a 41 magnum.

16 .41 mags ! Wow, i would not say crazy or stupid, Crazy in a good way maybe, Not real interested in a .41 Special. I could get into a 44 special flat top though. It would not be a surprise to me if i came up with one or two more, I might well end up with a Reeder Custom convertible 41 mag .41 GNR...tj

I'd call it savvy,, as you enjoy them, and don't mind having plenty of choices. I need to buy a few more to catch up,, I only have a dozen of them. (Well, not counting the Contender,,, just my Rugers.)

Contender, You've got me, only 8 of my 41s are Rugers, rest are Henry, S&W, FA, Taurus, TC, Charter, Desert Eagle.

I don't own a S&W .41 mag,, (yet,, as the right one at the right price,, when I can afford it hasn't come along,,,,,,,,, yet) but I hope to one day. I don't have a Ruger DA in 41 mag yet either,, but I'm sniffing the trail of one. Other brands,, haven't grabbed me either. But Ruger SA's,, well,, gotta love them! Oh,, did I mention that of my Ruger SA's in .41 mag,,, 10 of them are OM's? And one of them used to belong to our own sixshot,, who'd enjoy owning it again,,! And of course,, with my handle,, "contender" I had to double check. I have 2 Contender bbls in .41. 10" & 14"

I don't have a whole bunch of guns, but all but one of my revolvers are Ruger single actions & half of those are .41Mags 'n I also have a .41Mag Henry carbine to keep 'em company.
I would very much like to do the 4 5/8, 5.5, 6.5 & 7.5" stainless .41 Bisley "collection" & would love to have a blued 7.5" .41 Bisley to send out & have done up like one of the Turnbull SBHs (I love my Bisley, but the 7.5" SBH is one of the "sexiest" s/a revolvers ever).
Also need a blued 4" model 57 & a 657 Classic Hunter is on my grail list.
So, um, yeah. Reckon you could say I'm a bit of a .41 fan.

I guess I fall in the “like the .41” category. A Model 57, a Taurus Titanium Tracker, and a 6 1/2 inch NM Blackhawk. The 57 has a better trigger of course, but the Blackhawk is more fun to shoot.
