This was a fun project that was inspired by Mr. Taffin's Charter Arms makeover. He was kind enough to email me some pics of his several years ago so I could get and idea where to go with it. I did an action job, sight re-forming and put some grips on it.

Looks good! That front sight is a big improvement to me, and the grips look great!

Nice work on the front sight. guessing you "declawed" the little beast on th back? If I get the other kinks worked out of my 3" 357, the full underlug is getting abbreviated.

It shot great. The Forcing cone developed a crack and Charter replaced it. I ended up with a 5" gun. It is a tack driver.

Glad to see the Charters Arms offerings getting some love around here. The groove in the under lug, does it qualify as a rail for mounting things ? Purely to reduce weight ?
