Here are a couple pics of a .500 Linebaugh built by John himself. The previous owner sent it to Turnbull for a deluxe polish, carbona blue and case coloring. I've owned a LOT of custom revolvers and hands down this one has the best finish. My Bowen Best Quality guns are probably clos but this one being recently completed is remarkable. The fellow who sent it to Turnbull said the process was time consuming and he had to stay after them. Still took a year but in my eyes definitely worth it. Grips by Dustin.   Didn't capture the checkered ERH and the way the blue breaks on the edges but I tried...  |

Well, that's just stunning. Simply awesome work! I like how it's simple on the surface, but with some nice extra touches.

I tend to like a little bling like blue screws or such but the simplicity of this one speaks volumes.

Turnbull fluted the cylinder...left that part out.
Dustin did the grips and they're marked on the backs.

Short flutes tell the story.
Like that low profile front sight base.
Hard to beat the looks of a Linebaugh Vaquero.

That background helps a lot I think. Noticed others are using the same. Bottom line with this one is that the finish is just that good! |
