Is anyone making HBWCs in .32 caliber? I'm swaging my own right now, which is frankly a bit of a pain.

I think either Xtreme or Berry's offered a plated HBWC in .32 if I recall correctly.

FWIW Beware the brass you use for 32 wadcutter. Starline actually posts a caution on their 32 S&W Long listing.

Starline says: **May not work with some wadcutter loads due to length of internal taper of case. I don't get it.
why are only wadcutters a problem?
it seems like internal taper of a case would effect all bullet designs equally.
? Prescut

Prescut Wadcutters are generally seated very deep in the case, so the internal thickening of the case walls could compress the base of the bullet and cause issues.

Hornady makes a 90 grain hbwc They've been discontinued. Berry's also no longer seems to make them.

I know you're answering a question, but that scenario is for solid base wadcutters.... a hollow base wadcutter shouldn't be bothered unless it is too hard to expand the bases skirt. MP Molds makes a 32 HB mold also for the guys that do cast.

I found some Magtech 98gr HBWC at a pawn shop this year, taking data from Hodgdon for Titegroup (2.6-3.3gr for an 83gr Berb HBWC) I tried 2.5gr with the heavier bullet. 930fps from a 6.5" Single Six, I will drop that to 2.0gr and try again. Starline brass, WSP primers.
Speer #12 used their own swaged 98gr HBWC in a 5.5" Single Six and topped out at 843fps, using FC cases and CCI 500 primers.
