I can also attest to the GT bullets, though I have only shot them in 32, 41 and 45 calibers, they have all been fantastic when shot nice and easy or pushed. I always check them out first before looking for other cast bullets.

Well, I must say that the banana bisley grip on the BFR is quite comfortable to shoot. We will see if that holds true with 385 grain GT bullets in heavy .45 colt or .454 loads. I loaded up 2 more powder charges of H110 and 265 Beartooth WFNGC. The lower powder charge at 25 yards shot 1.5" (cases still sooty) and the higher charge had an amazing group going except on the 3rd shot, there was a VERY noticeable fireball and slightly more recoil. That shot threw high about 3 inches. Had it not been for that, my other 4 shots went into about 1". This powder charge was also still sooty and cases ejected easily and primers were perfect.

I might add that I used my Redding powder throw to drop charges in which I seldom do. I usually throw into scale pan about .3 grain short and trickle the rest of the way in, so I could have had a heavier charge on that one errant round

Well, I should get my GT 385 cast HP in today. Thinking about starting at 20.0 grains of H-110 and working up from there. Figured that would be a decent spot to start, since in the heavy .45 colt article, 20.0 H-110 was used with 405 grain in 6 shot Ruger loads. Thoughts?

Some loaded rounds, I think they look pretty sexy.

So, I am wondering if I should try another load with .3 grain more H--110 at 22.3 and another with .3 more grains for 22.6 since I am getting up there in pressure?
