This project was MRS Christmas present that my fabricator buddy & I have been working on in our spare time over the winter... MRS wanted a trailer she could take to the farmers markets & craft shows to sell eggs & her crafts... so it started with a pop up tent camper in need of work I bought for $50.00... & through the pictures you can see we're ready to start sheeting it with some barn red, & silver aluminum sheeting... the goal was to make something she could pull with her lil Jeep Wrangler, where she could still open the tailgate with the trailer hooked up, be light weight, & here was our journey to where we are today hope you enjoy... The tent camper with everything scraped off, but the plywood floor... Stripped completely, with barn plan on the cardboard... Welding in additional steel floor joists... and the pad for the battery, for the 12 volt LED lighting Checking the clearance before purchasing the draw bar jack to make sure the tailgate will open... Back from the sandblaster & painter, with the jack & battery box starting to lay out the barn shaped ribs Installing the floor glued to the frame, & screwing down the aluminum angles to weld the shed frame to Windows arrived... Aluminum shed frame going up... MRS gets to see it for the 1st time... Both end walls completed... ready to start sheeting with barn red & silver for the roof

Ok, that is REALLY slick. Am thinking(redneck version) a big camo net thrown over and ya have a mobile hunt shack, shoot shack.

We're actually building it, that the shed part could be removed down the road if we wanted, & then we would have an aluminum yard barn, & a aluminum diamond plate trailer... but I'm sure she won't give up her portable "she shed" so that I can put the lawn mower on the trailer

MRS is only 5'2" tall so the shed is smaller than it looks... the door ( still on order ) is a 34" X 80" all glass for light, self storing screen door ( note how close the top of a standard door is to the roof in the last picture ) with MRS standing in it the shed looks 10 ft tall... with screened windows in the front ( 2nd rib ) of the long sides... we will be using LED strip lighting on the ceiling... we will be spray foaming the inside walls & ceiling, once the sheeting is on, then the inside ceiling will be white aluminum sheeting, & the walls will be white vinyl peg board... inner fenders with be squared aluminum diamond plate... I will continue with the pictures as it gets closer to completion

bushog... We're building it in my buddies brand new shed... I got a nice barn shed we posted some pictures while it was built by the Amish, a couple years ago... but Duane's shed is twice as big, & foam insulated, with a wood burner... much more comfortable to work in over the winter

My grandpa was always ran country general stores. He took a old model T truck and made a sort of van out of it probably around 1930, had my mother who was about 15 set up a grocery route to outlying farms. My 12 year old uncle did the driving and she would take orders, buy eggs etc and deliver past orders out of it. Somewhere I think I have a old picture of it. Mom bought grandpa`s store and ran it when he retired. I think she was like 18. I was raised in that store until about age seven. After the war my folks sold it but mom still loved hitting farm market days in various towns. Dad bought her a truck and tent to set up. She did that to her mid 70`s. The newspaper featured her in a article a few years before she died. It was in her blood! She also had a large tent set up selling produce on the highway in front of our house when she wasn't working in various factory's.

Bare with me. That was a picture of my folks on their wedding day in front of their store. I am still trying to learn how to post here.

a few more pictures... Fenders welded into the Aluminum Diamond Plate Floor... The frame is strong... I spent an hour or so yesterday grinding down the weld beads flush with the tube on the sides the sheeting glues to... Colored Aluminum Sheeting here & the gray roof pieces bent up & glued to the frame now... clamps & steel & aluminum still clamped on to hold things in place Bent hip edging to keep rain from dripping into the screens on the windows & help with the "barn look" Roof done... time to work on the sides in red...
