I recently came across a set of 45acp dies and one of them is a CH Speed Seater die. I'm not really sure what it is, or if I should go with a taper die as well.
Any info on it would be appreciated. Thanks. -K

the CH speed seater die was originally designed to facilitate seating of semi wadcutter design bullets in progressive loading machines (believe their AutoChamp and the current 4X pistol chanp) , you would need a taper crimp to remove any expanding you did before seating. I have them for 45 ACP, 9mm, 30 carbine. Believe they ask $40 for a taper crimp die
