I'd love to buy that but I am so leary of getting tripped up by unknown state laws on the selling of game animal parts. Shoot in Oregon you can not even sell a taxidermy mount unless you are the taxidermist trying to recoup costs from a non paying customer. Just not worth the risk to me as much as I'd love to have those horns for grips and knife scales. I know the guys who do it for a living understand the laws but I sure don't so I'll pass.

Could you have the head shipped to your grip maker who then ships the grips to you?

Ya, a guy needs to be careful for sure. Laws vary state to state but one cannot try to skirt one states law by transporting/selling in another state. Here in AK it is legal to sell Dall Sheep horns but they cannot be attached to the skull. Nor can one sell a "trophy". If a guy has a mounted Dall Sheep he can't sell the mount but can cut the horns off and sell them. It is also legal to sell the cape. I've done both.
