no checks for me ( I'm rich... rolls eyes ) between my salary, & farm land rent, we make too much... doesn't help with bills... plus I'll probably get taxed for everyone getting these checks, & won't receive a dime...
Mother was wondering if she'll get a check, being on social security... I couldn't answer that one for her, but told her not to plan on it, but be pleasantly surprised if she does...
not sure if they got everything squared away for a signature yet or not???
half my employees can't keep a check book balanced, so they all go to walmart to cash their checks, so they won't see anything for at least a month anyway...

I work for the government and even though we’re off work thankfully I still get paid. I realize a lot aren’t that lucky. The wife says we’re pulling our checks together and putting it towards a new roof.
I have two 629s in layaway that need picked up but I suppose that can wait

I'm still at work of course, because I live there. There's a lot of uncertainty as to whether people will be buying my products with things as they are. If we get compensation from the government it has to go to bills, or be saved against future need.

Being a first responder I work and I get paid, quite well actually. Even if I get sick I get paid, whether job related or not, sadly many of our new employees blow through their sick leave like its just another vacation balance so they have little to none available should they get sick and it’s not job related. If I get a check it’ll probably go towards one of my pending gun projects or pending hunts.

Being a middle-aged, single, caucasian, male: I won't get a dime, I'll get a bill!
That said, I'd go straight to the store and get me a STi 2011, single stack carry gun, which i would never carry.

Im still working but I dont know for how long. I hope my work isnt interrupted but they are already asking assembly personnel to take free time or vacation next week. If I get a government check Ill likely sit on it! What worries me more is the “secretive stuff” that will get signed off on that we dont know about

If I get a check, I'll give half to my daughter in Texas because she's out of work and less than a year out of college. The other half I'm giving to my son because he is in Wyoming at University of Wyoming and chose to stay out there (with my blessing) instead of coming back to NY when they shut the University down.

...whether people will be buying my products with things as they are... What are your products? I make hand-made knives and swords, mostly in the style of the European Middle Ages and Viking era.
