I had this Cimarron Navy in .38 Special. I loaded very mild loads for it and I called it my "centerfire twenty-two." It was a lot of fun to shoot as long as you didn't worry too much about hitting anything smaller than a basketball. The sights were impossible for me. But as long as you had a few ranging shots to adjust you were fine. Its a beautiful gun, and the only revolver in my stable that allowed you to clean the barrel from the breech end. Got two of the SAA clones in 44 spl. Both Cimarron, one made by ASM the Other Uberti. The ASM is a 4 3/4" bbl, the Uberti is 5.5". Love em.
Got a handfull of Ruger flat tops in 44 spl.
My latest will be a 44 spl New Vaquero built off a .357.
The 4 3/4" SAA close are a handy little piece and mine are accurate as can be. Congrats!
