What a classic combination! Did you have any challenges in mounting it?
In the early 80s, I bought a Leupold 3.5-10x40 AO with the same tapered cross-hairs. They called it their CPC reticle. Wasn't offered long, and I've never seen another one. I happen to like it, but apparently I'm in the minority.

This scope mounted the on the Winchester like you'd expect it to.. Like they were made to go together.

Retro cool! That must have been an expensive set up in its day!

Super nice rimfire rig. If it shoots half as good as it looks, it’s a winner!

Got it on paper... Later in day fired 10 rounds of CCI Blazer at 75 feet through a cold barrel. Planning to shoot a warm barrel group tomorrow.

Warm barrel 10 shot group with CCI Blazer was not better. Next week we will try other ammo...

When you asked a question about the scope a couple weeks ago (wasn't it?), I wondered when some pics would be posted.
I too like a retro rifle set up.

Stan.... to be sure, a classic. Unlike some of the old centerfire match rifles, this .22 LR may be far from obsolete. Once you get out from 50 to 100 yards, it may take real match ammunition to eliminate fliers. This is a rifle to just shoot for the squeeze & satisfaction. If it hasn’t been shot in many years, I would pass a bronze brush with Hoppe’s #9, followed by cotton flannel patch, to remove residual oxidation. David Bradshaw

I come from the school of "We don't clean a 22LR barrel." Keep the chamber clean but if the barrel needs more there may be a bad spot in the barrel. Trade the gun or install a new barrel. My match pistols have NEVER been scrubbed. That said I've got a few different brands of 22 to try. Some Eley Tenex sitting on the top shelf. Sure hope it shoots something else best... $0.34 a round for 22LR might be painful.
