I adopted one on Valentine's Day. This gun performs like a Glock, but then again it is a Glock. 150 rounds of CCI Blazer - functioned flawlessly 50 rounds of Remington Thunderbolt - three fail to eject 165 rounds of Winchester bulk in white box - one snap, reload and rerun and bang 120 rounds American Eagle - one snap, reload and rerun and bang 50 rounds of Armscor - one stovepipe 35 rounds of Federal Champion (blue box) one fail to eject 570 rounds, 5 fail to eject, 2 clicks, but when re-run they went bang. About the same as my Ruger 22/45, much less trouble than my GSG 1911-22. Should get better with another 1000 or so down the pipe. Great practice gun for introducing a new shooter to Glocks and for folks that carry and shoot a Glock.

Bought one a few weeks ago. Have only fired CCI Velocitors and Mini Mags. Have had zero failures of any sort. I think mostly due to 40 grn ammo...

Just picked on up this week. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet but perhaps on my net R&R. I didn't get to the range this R&R due to cold weather and lots of snow removal. Throw an anniversary weekend in and my two weeks off flew by.

I added a TX22 to the pile so I could do a side by side test between the G44 and a Taurus TX22.
The G44 is only available with 10 round mags, while the TX22 can be had with either 10 or 16 round mags. Since I insisted on the no manual safety model TX22, mine came with 10 rounders because that is all his distributor had in stock. I added a pair 16 rounders that my LGS had on the rack.
So today I took both of my new peashooters to the range.
I had pre-loaded all four of my TX22 mags and both G44 mags with Blazer 40 grain before going to the range. Both guns functioned perfectly, this was the G44's second outing, but the maiden voyage for the TX22.
I then put away the 16 round mags for the Taurus.
Next, I opened a box of Federal 36 grain HP in the 525 bulk pack. I proceeded to load two mags for each pistol. This was not intended to be an accuracy test, only a function test. I shot two mags through each pistol and reloaded. I continued to shoot all four mags and reload all four mags until I had burned through the entire package of 525 rounds.
I had zero malfunctions, no FTF, no FTE, no stovepipes, no misfires, etc. with either pistol, absolutely flawless function from both guns.
I continued my test with a 333 pack of Winchester 36 grain HP ammo with identical results, 100% flawless function from both guns.
G44 or TX22, either should enable you to have a nice session at the range.

I'm kind of late to the game on the Glock 44. I bought one right after they came out but this winter's events have kept me from getting to the range. I was out last week conducting some weapons quals and thought I ought to at least function check the new Glock. Just some Remington 22 LR, not the cheaper stuff but some older high velocity HP stuff I've had for years.
I can see this gun becoming a regular companion. I shot two magazines at 10 yards off hand, mostly just to function check it. No failures and I cannot complain on the accuracy. I know 10 yards isn't all that far but it shows promise. I look forward to more shooting. And at one pound fully loaded it's hard not to like a 22 that light.

I have one I haven’t shot yet as well. I need to get it out soon. Good to see the great reports!

While I'm coming to the Glock 44 party a little late, I did get out Teusday, finally, to test mine. I took 17 varieties of ammo and my Ransom Rest. I wanted to see just how accurate , or inaccurate, it might be. I was impressed with the accuracy. I was also impressed with its reliability. With a wide variety of ammunition. Despite the many reports of failures with cheap ammo, Remington Thunderbolt to be specific, I never had a failure with it. I also was admonished to not use anything other than high velocity offerings. Interestingly, five standard velocity loads all functioned perfectly. CCI's subsonic functioned perfectly. The Fiocchi subsonic functioned fine in the Ransom Rest but gave me 11 failures to extract/stovepipes out of 20 rounds when fired offhand. I fired 10 rounds of each from the Ransom Rest and 2 magazines full offhand on steel to get a sense of how all the ammo functioned from a normal shooting position, offhand in this case. The Ransom Rest is considerably more rigid than a human hand and as the Fiocchi showed, it let ammo function that wouldn't from a normal position. I know two magazines doesn't make an empirical test but it gives me somewhat of an idea what to expect. Other than the Fiocchi subsonic, CCI Mini Mag and the Winchester Small Game HP gave me 4 and 3 failures to extract respectively. One from the CCI while in the Ransom and 2 in the rest with the Winchester. Three failures offhand with the CCI MM and 1 with the Winchester. Everything else functioned flawlessly. At one pound with a full magazine I can see this riding in my daypack as an augment to my rifle and/or big bore handgun, or in a side pocket on my pack for a backpack hunt. I think I could justify the extra pound for the versatility it would add to a backpack hunt. Or on my hip for those times I go out with a rifle but no big bore handgun. Or for those times in the winter when I want to have a light 22 with me for the occasional rabbit or ptarmigan. This little shooter has a lot to offer in my opinion. Here's a few pictures.

Am I seeing on that last target all ten went into two holes?

No. That last target was three shots from a Savage 24c. I just got it a couple months ago, hadn’t fired it yet and wanted to check to see if it was any where close to zeroed. Just needs a slight drift to the right with that ammo.

And I was out of time to try any other loads in it. I always liked those 24C Savages. Mine came with the original vinyl case for it. Nice little camp gun.

I've been shooting my Glock 44 for a few months now and I'm very impressed. Unlike you, I've only had one failure in 500 rounds and that was with Federal bulk ammo. Once I rotated that case 90 degrees it fired without a problem. Almost all of my shooting has been with CCI Mini Mags, and I haven't had a single failure with them. I'm amazed at how reliable this thing is. Everything feeds and functions without a problem. Also, very accurate too, with 5 shot groups of 1.5 inches at 25 yards. I'm very picky about firearms, but this thing just works!!!!!!!! Plus it's downright fun!!!!
