Same gun with Clements style Commander Hammer. I just had to make one and see what it looked like!! Lol ***** Ronnie.... * 1911 hammer on Bisley?----ditch that thing! * Bisley hammer on a 1911!? (Hammer bite & all.)----Somebody would buy it, perhaps 200th Anniversary Model 1911. * Bisley spur, serrated vs checkered----whichever is least prone to slip. If checkered, checkering should run to edge of spur, no border. David Bradshaw

Ronnie.... the checkered beavertail hammer on Browning’s 1911 looks to have Colt Bisley influence. David Bradshaw

I am still not sure of the look but I have to admit, it works like a dream on this one.

I would buy another skeleton Bisley hammer in a flash. I dropped that hammer on several Jackrabbits at over 100 yards and my front sight never quavered. Not even a little bit.

FYI: quivered + wavered = quavered.

That revolver has made me a huge fan of the 32-20 round.
