Hakan, is a friend, and a gunsmith of considerable skill. He enjoys doing one off stuff, but not for pay, just the enjoyment of doing it.

Spent some time going through his posts and need to spend some more. Great stuff.
Apparently there's a closed group for gunsmiths and ex-gunsmiths, no lay-people allowed. I'd be interested to poke around there too.

No Instagram but looks like it would be fun to see what his work is.

I can only imagine the cost to have this setup reproduced, but I like it. Lots of room to access the hammer spur, but no way to adjust for eye relief. Still, classic European mount adapted to an American icon.

His rings & bases are absolutely world renowned on Sako TRG's & similar long range military-app set ups.. to the sniper/mil related sector, SPUHR is literally a household name. His gear is absolutely top notch (and the milling & machine-work on it ALL leaps & bounds more precisely done than common off the shelf brands like nightforce, Badger & what-have-you else). NEAR is SPUHR's best equal far as North American manufacture goes.. but is a story in hisself
In the longrange (rifle) world though, SPUHR stuff is gold. Had no idea he ever dabbled in revolver work.

JT, you should see his work on a scrapped POS Ruger no1, not that no1 are POS but the one he bought was fubar’d pretty bad. his work on P08 Lugers is very cool as well. He loves to hunt with old leverguns and pump guns, I’ve got an invitation to stop by his shop and gun library when I’m in Sweden later this year,.....you can bet ill find the time. trapr
