I finally got a plastic gun. An M&P 2.0. I have been shooting it alongside my Ruger lightweight Commander 1911. No aurprise I shoot the 1911 bettwr but with twice the capacity I want to give the S&W a fair shake.

As long as the LAW is still in effect plastic is fine.
Easy to replace when it gets "lost" from evidence room........

I have been packing a Taurus G2c in 9 mm for a while really liking it. Not had one hiccup so far and have put a lot of rounds through it.

Been carrying a Glock for cc since 1997. Either a G26 or a G19. Depends on what I'm doing & where I'm going.

Pocket carry diamondback db9 . A six in the mag 9mm ,tiny! First plastic gun for me too!

My go-to is the P365. Although I do occasionally grab the Ruger LCP, I'm trying to stop that. But I Want a carry 1911....

My main carry has varied from a PPK, Glock 19, Glock 26, S&W 1911sc, and Ruger LCP. Now i find myself carrying either a Sig 938 or a Sig P365 most of the time with the 365 most. It is a nice little pistol for EDC.

In wintertime I carry Glock 21. Summer usually an airweight. Doesn't pull my pants down.

Here are the two I am currently getting to know.  Trade my Glock 17 for a Sig 1911 that I just couldn't” get used to. I sold it and bought these two. I am pretty sold on the 19 but i want to learn the M&P also. I had a Gen 3 model 19 that I couldn’t shoot for anything. I mean, maybe hit a letter sized sheet at 10 yards. I shoot this Gen 5 MUCH better. I do like the Hellcat. My only subcompact is a G43 and it suits me for the time being. I do like the idea of the larger capacity of the Hellcat though. |

 Now I went and added this tiny little red dot. For folks with old guy eyes, those red dots are a game changer. Almost like cheating. |

I can't bring myself to go polymer. I've been carrying a S&W Model 60 3" .357 since late 80's (My hot weather gun). But I am a 1911 fan so I still Carry a NightHawk Custom T3 .45 in winter, and a Springfield EMP4 CCC 9mm other months. My 'Go-To' property gun is a heavily worn Springfield 1911 FBI Professional in .45. It outshoots every other handgun I have and in 8000+ rounds has never jammed.
My Department switched from Sig P220's to Glocks shortly after I retired in 2005. I tried the Glocks but the grip frame angle is all wrong for me. Aims too high.
