imgur.com/IwQFSGOUberti Catleman .45 Colt , my first SAA. Now I have also Cimarron Catleman .45Colt . Both have 4 3/4" barrels. Uberti came three months ago and Cimarron arrived just before christmas. Group shot rested two handed. mostly groups are like that, four fine and one or two more not so good. Waiting weather getting warmer, now its like 14 fahrenheit. Yes these big bores are very tempting and fun to shoot. In Finland just paper and steel allowed

No game or varmints. No handgun hunting. Only "Coup de Grace" with pistols allowed, so you can carry one with you while hunting...
Cimarron seems and feel more "tight"package. Trigger is more heavy. Uberti have very good trigger.
Lee .452 255gr FP is good with Uberti, fps is around 850 with that 8.5gr Vihtavuori TinStar (N32C).

It is expensive here in the states, about 50% more than other powders. Then I noticed your screen name Finnbilly and saw you were from Finland where I believe VV is manufactured. Can you tell me what you spend for one of those standard 1 pound containers in US dollars in Finland? Here, it's about $34.00. Prescut

I am " mildly amused".. 0,5kg /1 pound is 60 euros/65,75 US dollars!!!
Well it is what it is...

Well it is what it is... Thanks for the reply and the math. I'm glad I could amuse you, if only mildly. What a shock !!! I expected the opposite. $65 in Finland vs $35 in the states. I expected for some reason that it would be much cheaper where it was made. No shipping or import fees. It's beyond my circuits to calculate how those numbers are possible. Well, so much for my plan to move to Finland. Prescut Vihtavouri, still my favorite powder.

caryc thank You also for that shortcut so I dont have bang my head to the wall so long. Frank V Dont know if there is much more difference between Uberti and Cimarron models than stampings in barrels? Cimarron is still waitin for more shootin. oddshooter I think that price difference has lot to do with economics, like how much that powder you can buy with your one hour salary after taxes? For me its like about 1/4 of pound and i am not lowest paid here
