Thanks everyone!! Congrats, Zane! I remember the day I went on RF to purchase that gun I’d been watching for quite some time and you’d just beat me to it. Good snag and great looking gun! I can't believe it sat for as long as it did! I wanted it the day Mike posted it up but couldn't make it work at the time. finally i couldn't resist any longer lol. |

It was for sale for a while, that's for sure. Went through a few price drops too. Must have been my photography skills because it looks gorgeous in hand. Being chambered in 44 mag it wasn't going to get a lot of use here in a house full of 45s. glad it went to a good home and gets to fulfill. its purpose!

I found an interview done by AH with Ross Seyfried in that issue you posted Zane. In it was a line from Ross, that pretty much sums up my thought on handgun hunting and the use of single shot “handguns”.
“With this in mind, some hunters may want to avoid the big single-shots - unless they want to compromise between rifle and actual handgun hunting. With the handgun, the essence of it is not what we kill, but how we hunt. The thrill of getting very close with stalking skills becomes the priority.”
