I went into AW Peterson's today, one of the oldest gun shops in America. I tend to stay out of there for good reasons. A trip in there last week got me a High Standard Hamden gun (pics soon) on layaway. I went in there today looking for old bullets as they used to be the place for handloaders prior to the internet. No such luck. As the inventory changes daily I looked back down the used case to see if there was something that wasn't there the other day. Boy was there. This is a 1920 manufacture nickel plated ivory stocked 32-20 owned by the family of the man that purchased it. It was shot a few times then put into a bank vault. It sat there from who knows when until now. The man behind the counter told me the person representing the family came in and told them noone in the family had any use for it, so here it is. For sale. There is NO endshake, not a hint. The hammer spring seems as stout as a Freedom Arms. There is the slightest bit of yaw in the cylinder but oh my I've never held something like that. I was in awe. No freckling, chipping, peeling, just gorgeous multi layered nickel. It's for sale fellas, AW Peterson Gun Shop in Mount Dora Florida.
