I want to start a new in the box picture thread and had intended to swap some guns places from one to another but didn't get the time today. I'm taking a minute to start the thread though, that's why you're required to start this. As the name implies, these will be new guns. Preferably older guns, especially no new Glocks in black plastic clamshells. Nothing against Glock in this house, just looking for novelty, collectible, or just plain old rifles, pistols, or shotguns, the older the better. Unfired if possible. If you keep your centennial 1911 in the case you got it in but it's got a thousand rounds down the pipe, foul. Please don't post USFA's, there's a thread for that already where Outlawben will school you. Please join in, I'll get mine in tomorrow.

Can’t remember ever taking pictures of a new one before shooting it!
I think I have one somewhere that I bought to bribe a friend into quitting snuff. I’ll have to dig around some. He still hasn’t quit.

I'm trying to get to mine. Thank you! I wonder what the other side of that hang tag says....
Any idea what year that might be?

Not old but rare so I'm told. Supposedly only 100 adjustable sighted fluted Bisley 22 LR were made. At least that's what I've been told. It appeared to have never been fired when I got it. Can't say that now.

I bought this from the CMP several years ago. It's a CMP Special Grade. Completely refurbished with a new Criterion barrel and new stock. I still haven't shot it. It's a 1954 H&R receiver.
