Here: www.gunbroker.com/item/852078462I've bought from this seller and he's a straight-up fellow. This one has the "Dustin" rear sight insert. I don't think I've ever seen this on John's guns before. Did Dustin do the sight? Current price is a steal....

I was looking at that earlier. If it had a different front sight....

Linebaugh front sights are typically serrated ramps, and his guns often leave his shop with factory rear sights.
Thankfully this is a stainless gun and we have excellent screw on front sights available that any gunsmith can install.

Does that gun have a screw on sight? Hard to say from the photos.

I would bet not.
Not sure that what Todd said applies to this gun....

Looks soldered on like Linebaugh's other sights. That serrated ramp is a typical Linebaugh style, as opposed to Clements or Bowen's typical styles (Baughman ramps, each with their distinctive aesthetics).
What I meant was it's not a big deal replacing that front sight given that it's a stainless gun and we've got members making custom front sights now.
Disclaimer: narrow ramp sights are my least favorite sights, so I'm right there with cas thinking that sight needs to go

Not a matter of preference, but a matter of seeing. That may not stop me from throwing a big at it and only sort of hoping I win. I have a brand new aluminum Bisley grip frame sitting in my desk drawer with nowhere to go. That frame and that gun, with slow heavies might make the ultimate packing gun. You know, to go with the other ultimate packing guns I've been gathering over the years. lol

John made that for me several years ago when he was using a LOT of base pins, traded his labor for mine.

It passed my "I really don't need it" but I'd hate to miss it if it went cheap" imposed price limit.
Of course that's the way life works, that limit would have been quite a bit higher a week and a half ago. lol

I understand the "Don't want to Miss it", it got past my level fairly quickly. Kelye
