Super nice! Between you, Robb, Tim, and Mike (and a few others that I can't think of) there is no shortage of some of the nicest six/five guns I've ever seen. Just when I think I've seen my favorite example, one of you guys outdoes the other. This one just went straight to the top! Bowen does some of the most elegant execution I've ever seen. I love all of the top smith's, but Bowen just stands alone in my opinion. I wish I had never sold the few Bowen guns that I've had the pleasure of owning - I just don't have the patience to start a new project anymore.

Kraig, did you end up with the Bowen Nimrod in 45 Colt that was stainless with horn grips that I used to own?

Yes I did, regretfully in a moment of insanity I let it go.

That’s stunning!!!
Does Bowen do his own CCH on the frame, or does he send them somewhere else?

A few years back I contacted TN about doing a similar 45C conversion on my NMFT 44 Special. The answer I got back was that they wouldn’t do a 45C conversion on that gun. I knew I should have asked more questions ... my donor gun is still sitting in the safe.

I knew I should have asked more questions ... my donor gun is still sitting in the safe. He won't do a 6 shot conversion on the medium frame guns in fear of someone shooting a "Ruger only" load in it. No problem with the 5 shot conversion as it will handle those loads.

Someone in their spare time should make build checklist sheet. There's been enough things sent/spent to know what they are. Don't forget thinning the hammer. Resending, disassembling, rebluing, resending isn't cheap. I know.
