My Bradshaw Bisley in Brass arrived today and it is awesome.
I would post some pictures but it is already packed up and taking a journey to a Gunsmith.
More to follow in a few months once this project is complete.

Here it is. Still fitting wood and metal but you can see how the Dealer looks next to a regular bisley. What I can tell you is it fits my hand better than any of my other wheel guns.

Ya Reflex, i think the Dealer is Bad Ass myself! I especially dig the bisley trigger guard version myself! With the Blackhawk trigger guard this fits my hand and trigger finger perfectly. I have weird hands. Being able to get the blackhawk trigger guard is one of the things that made me like this frame. Hopefully I'll get to test fire it this weekend. Part of the beauty of this whole thing is being able to tailor it to the individual. That has never been easy to do before now. I give it two thumbs up!

By the way. It comes in two more flavors other than Blackhawk hunter or Bisley trigger guard style. Dragoon square back and A semi Bisley rounded like the old Bill Grover TLA style.
JUST SAYIN!!!!!

I ordered an aluminum Potato Judge for a SBH 44 Magnum. I hope I did right.

I think a real brass trigger guard for the little Ruger Bearcat with be just dandy. I love how my old model Bearcat looks and I think it’s what the new model is really needing.

I got it finished enough to shoot it Saturday. With loads making just over 1000ftlbs the felt recoil was like a .357 shooting 158gr. The 4° shift vs the Bisley really does make that much difference in the arc of the recoil. I am happy.

Let's see if these images post correctly. Ronnie did up two grip frames for me, he posted them a couple posts ago but I got some better photos. They are incredible. I was hesitant in the xr300 because the factory ruger grip was so terrible, but it's actually fantastic and fits my hands perfectly. The angle on the dealer is nice, it seems much more like a semi-auto, but I'll have to get out and shoot soon to give better feedback. A dealer with the walnut grips, and an xr300 in maple.

Now Im questioning my decision on the "Potato Judge". If you close your eyes, lift up the revolver, then open your eyes are the sights near inline? I know this is like asking someone if they prefer cotton or synthetic shirts, just thought Id ask.

I know this is like asking someone if they prefer cotton or synthetic shirts, just thought Id ask. I haven't tried that but it sets in my hand like it was made just for me. The potato judge was my second choice. I wouldn't second guess it at all. It also looks like an improvement over anything else out there. After the grips are done we are going to stick it on a .454 and see how it handles that recoil.

For a noob buying his first grip frame, what are the pros/cons of the Bisley vs Blackhawk trigger guard option? Obviously the Bisley is more of a rounded shape and is cut for the use of the Bisley part. Is this about looks or is there any functional advantage?
For the Dealer specifically, a few posts above are examples with a Bisley hammer and a SBH hammer. Is this just a matter of preference? Any advantage to either?

Beautifully done. Of all the gripframes Ronnie has sent me, the Dealer and XR3-RED +0.300" work the best in my hand. The wood on those two is exquisite. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"
