Anyone got any ideas. I have owned a Redhawk since they first made a 5 1/2" .44. That gun is put away with some others from an earlier life. I have recently acquired a couple of nice custom Redhawks and don't like the hammers. I would like a spur attached at a lower point and wider and lower. Allowing just ample clearance from the frame in SA mode. Anyone got something like this? Would you share pics and info? THANX...

Try Andy Horvath...He has modified a couple for me...Lowered to Bisley shape with Smith an Wesson Target spur...Looks good an works much better...No I can not post pics do not know how.. |

I think Reeder does one where he cuts off and welds a new hammer spur on. Thought I had pics but I can't find them now. The design wasn't bad, but the execution could have been cleaner.
