Will have 41, shortly, discovered I can do most of thework myself on a simple 357 to 41 conversion and not need to buy a bunch of tools, 45 Blackhawk may be going after all. Lee, watch for a PM

I like the two tone gun, kind of reminds me of Skeeters old 44 Flat top, I may have to go with the SS gripframe and blued everything else on something floating around here, or soon to be floating for that matter

All very nice, but I especially like the second from the top. Stag, CCH, and the barrel rib go well together. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Thanks Lee, that second one is the little 41 Special Andy Horvath recently finished for me. I'm itchy to get some stuff loaded up and see how it shoots but Andy said it really likes a 5 grain load of Titegroup. The trouble is I can't find any Titegroup around here so we'll dig into JT's material for starting load data.

ANDY CANNON .41 MAGNUM SIXGUNWELL IT WAS BACK IN THE 1970'S. MASSAD AYOOB WAS WRITING ABOUT AND PROMOTING A PISTOLSMITH FROM NEW HAMPSHIRE BY THE NAME OF ANDY CANNON IN THE AMERICAN HANDGUNNER MAGAZINE AND OTHER PLACES. I SENT CANNON GUNS A MODEL 57 4" .41 MAGNUM S&W. I TOLD ANDY TO GIVE IT THE WORKS WITH A COUPLE OF MY OWN MODIFICATIONS. HE WAS VERY NICE AND TOLD ME AT THE TIME HE WOULD GO TOTALLY THROUGH IT AND DO THE HAMMER, TRIGGER AND THUMB LATCH SHAPING MODS I HAD OUTLINED. A SUPER ACTION JOB WAS DONE WITH A 2LB. SINGLE ACTION TRIGGER PULL AND A SUPERB DOUBLE ACTION. CYLINDER ALIGNMENT WAS DONE AND END SHAKE REMOVED. CYLINDERS WERE BEVELED FOR EASE OF SPEED LOADING. CYLINDER THUMB LATCH WAS RELIEVED. HAMMER SPUR WAS RESHAPED TO A PROFILE SIMILAR TO A COLT PYTHON. TRIGGER WAS RESHAPED TO A SMOOTH FACE 1/2" WIDE WITH A TRIGGER STOP INSTALLED. THE SIXGUN IS SUPER ACCURATE. ANDY TOLD ME IT SCARED HIM WHEN HE MACHINE TESTED IT AS IT WANTED TO PUT ALL BULLETS INTO THE SAME HOLE! I HAD STEVE HERRETT MAKE UP A SET OF ROPER-SKELTON WALNUT STOCKS FOR IT. ANYWAY THIS IS WHAT WAS HAPPENING WITH THE .41 AND MB OVER 30 YEARS AGO. GUESS I BEEN A "PHREAK" FOR A LONG WHILE. HOPE YOU ENJOY! ALL THE BEST SU AMIGO MB
