Always been a fan of Hamilton's S&W style topstrap treatment on singleactions. Over dinner one night I asked him what were some of his favorite guns to come out of his shop. He mentioned The best quality #15 gun in 50 special pictured below. One of my favorites and I assume one of his as well because he's used the picture many times over the years on his website, book and also articles is another best quality gun in 32/20

Mic drop!!!!!!! That says it all right there! Gorgeous gun worthy of anyone Best Grade label! Thanks Robb! Bowen must have felt pretty good about it, He used the blended & regulated ejector housing screw which I've only seen on his Best Quality or certain presentation level guns.

FA serial numbers can be placed on the bottom of the main frame so the frame thinning can occur. I think I read where Bowen has requested that location to allow for this work.

Saweet baby Moses. That’s a great lightweight. I’ve always loved the lightweight guns and even had a USFA 44 at one time to have one made. Never came to fruition.
Nicely done.

I routinely go on Bowen's site to view that revolver. WOW. He has many works of art pictured. This one is my favorite.

On that 45, I wonder how many hours... I'm guessing a fair number. I found a picture of some of the grip frame work to make the one piece gripframe into two and it looks fairly involved. Cutting, welding, bending, drilling, tapping and machining.
