Wow. How do you put a value in those 2 guns? Obviously they did and are not shy about it but how do you honestly say what they are worth?

Back in the mid 80's to early 90's I worked at a large gun shop in SC. When a Model 70 came in and it had extra holes drilled in it, we deducted $100 per hole. An $800 Model 70 with 4 extra holes is now a $400 Model 70. How much do you deduct per hole on an $800,000 Model 70? $100 or $100,000?

If you had a Teddy Roosevelt rifle with extra holes drilled for the sights or optics of the day, would that lessen the value? It's not like you can go out and buy the gun in better condition without the extra holes for more money.
