I located my copy of Guns & Ammo from August 1986 featuring "The .500 Magnum: The 'Outer Limits' of Handgun Power" by Ross Seyfried. I remember pouring over it when I was a kid for hours and spending a lot of time daydreaming about large bore revolvers. Ross has cost me a bunch of money over the years. I added a couple pics to the auction and it'll go to the winner of the auction.

I remember that article like it was yesterday.  It really stirred my imagination back then.  I still have never owned a custom revolver but every time I pick up my 500 JRH BFR I relive that article in my mind🙂
