I saw that. It sounds like no one got hurt. PacNor is a great company. I have used them a few times and have two actions there right now. Jay said they were barreled and almost done a week ago. I'm trying to be patient and not bug them about my barreled actions but I can't help but be curious about their whereabouts and condition.

***** The variety of groove diameters and twists available from Pac-Nor make them popular with top revolver smiths. However, respect doesn’t come without quality. The last forty years have put the revolver on the map as an instrument of serious marksmanship, on a scale never seen before Handgun Silhouette, disciplined marksmanship which has challenged, extended, and thereby buttressed the concept of fair chase in hunting. Hunting led to silhouette, and silhouette led back to hunting. Pac-Nor has served the highest ranks of custom building. Let us hope Pac-Nor returns to CONTINUE manufacture. David Bradshaw

I was in communication with Kathy yesterday at Pac-Nor and they are working on a refund for me for what I lost. I assured her the shooting fraternity hopes for and looks forward to their return. I told her they could count me as one of their first customers as soon as they are back in production. I have a left handed Charles Daly standard .473 action and I bwill just keep it in reserve for that day. That will give me a few months to agonize over what cartridge to which it should be barreled. That choice will probably change 30 times between now and then.
This makes me treasure the two rifles I have that wear Pac-Nor barrels. I was already pretty fond of both.
