I have a new model bearcat ! The one with adjustable sights. Its much harder to remove and replace the base pin than on my other Rugers. Today i decided to get a good look at why, i laid the pin on the concrete floor of my basement and rolled it. It has a we little bend in it. So i messaged Ruger asking them to send me a new one, and looked at belt mountain. There web sight says they make one but could not find it on the order form. so i e mailed them too. I am not going to try and put the old one back in unless i can straiten it. , so i am dead in the water till i get a replacement. Anybody else had to replace a Bearcat base pin ? I assume a belt mountain pin is an upgrade and just drops in ? thanks...tj3006
Got a good deal, on a project action ! A 1977 Super blackhawk, Got it at cabela's and with my points i am out 190.00. It had a little surface rust on the Cylinder , but the frame is good clean, Going to send it to Gary Reeder, i really like his Classic 475, but i want it in '45 LC. 5 shot Cylinder. Got no need for all that power, from a .475. Going to go with a 7.5 " Octagon Barrel. This gun came with the ugliest grips i ever saw ! He said that,s why i got it so cheap !...tj3006 ' '
