Now that I'm back in the .44 Special game with the Rossi 720 and having a serious case of the hots for one of the .44 Special Blackhawks I've started thinking about rolling my own. Uses will be informal paper punching and ringing steel.
I've seen the Skeeter load mentioned a lot but is it a hunting load, target load or just general purpose load? I have no frame of reference to determine if it's a middle of the road load safe for any modern revolver in good shape or is it on the higher end of the pressure scale (IOW low volume use in the 720?)? Is there anything else should I know about it?
Thanks!

YES--YES--YES

YES

"SHOULD" BE OK
Is there anything else should I know about it?
6.0 GR. UNIQUE WOULD PROBABLY BE MORE PLEASANT SHOOTING IN THE ROSSI.
