Finally got around to sending off to Colt for some letters. While I was pretty sure what the letters would show I wasn't positive that either gun had been sent directly to the recipient.

curious... & it's way "cooler" if do you own both guns, or if you just requested letters for guns by the serial numbers???

I own both. Bought the one direct from Ross over 20 years ago. The other came out of Elmer's auction.

Both of these guns are out of Elmer's estate and I have both. The Colt is the bottom one. Don't have a pic of the Anaconda, but it looks like any other. It was pictured in several of Ross's articles in G&A.

I have nothing compared to that, but I do have a 1903 Springfield rifle with Elmer's armourers stamp on the stock.
