Blast It! I thought it was a good thing not having television up in the mountains of Idaho. I'm going to have to venture into civilization to watch it.

Hey Max, which model of Sitka Gear were your pants and shirt? Did they seem to hold up to the nasty brush and thorns you ran into on your hunt?

'Course on a cell phone screen that half inch bore BFR looks like a Ruger Wrangler and the big beastie looks like MWM's giant possum..LOL. Sorry. I'd be glad to see it on a phone myself, just woke up and today it seems, sense of humor is cranked up.

Hey Max, which model of Sitka Gear were your pants and shirt? Did they seem to hold up to the nasty brush and thorns you ran into on your hunt? The pants are called "Grinders," and the shirts are from their "Ascent" line. The pants are tough, the shirts are super lightweight and they dry REALLY quickly -- that's why I like 'em so much.

Great show! Max, don't take this wrong, but your camera man did a fantastic job, not that you weren't fantastic too. Your show seemed real, not like a lot of other hunting shows. I felt that I was right there along with you. I can just imagine how difficult it was to pull that off, with the gaggle of people that were along with you. I hope you make a fortune with Big Iron, you deserve it.

I finally got around to watching the show this weekend.
Very entertaining and well done. One thing I especially liked was the accurate portrayal of hunting. Most hunting shows are so overtly unrealistic with continual perfect shots on trophy animals that just "happen" to walk into range. We all know that rarely does everything go perfectly and that things happen that may result in not getting a shot at your quarry. To me that makes Big Iron that much more realistic and entertaining.
I was a little bummed when I found out that there were only 2 episodes so far but I am anxiously waiting for the others as they are released.
Great job Max!
ETA: I should have read the post right before mine. Said essentially the same thing.

Thanks guys! I will pass the T-short idea on to the powers that be. Funny thing is that I wanted to do something to this effect as well! For those without Amazon Prime accounts, Big Iron is on RecoilTV as well as of today: videos.recoilweb.com/pages/discover/d/home

Thoroughly enjoyed the video.
The first two hunts (Impala & Springbuk IIRC), reminded me of bow hunting antelope with my son -- same type of deal, stalk up to "almost in range" and get busted.
Getting a bit to old for belly crawlin' but can live vicariously thru you and others.
Thanks,
Paul
