I'm making a list of 4-6 rifles and revolvers I'd like to pick up with an eye towards putting a few bucks into them and making them "mine". A takedown 10/22 is on the list but I haven't decided between a regular barrel and .920" barrel.
I'm not going to be backpacking or bugging in/bugging out with it. I'm not going to be shooting formal BR matches either (at least not seriously). I do plan on a non-takedown .920" 10/22.
Is everyone still happy with their TD models? I've heard of issues cropping up on the PCC at higher round counts but I really don't recall seeing or hearing the same about the 10/22 TD.

My round count is not very high compared to our regularly used .22s but have experienced no problems. We have standard barrel, black stock, and regular black case, I see many more colours and variations on them now. Ours was bought for the dual sport bike and I had to fit up a proper pair of shoulder straps to be worn like a back-pack, the single strap it came with didn’t cut it. Scope selection is critical if you intend to use the pack, the scope can’t extend past the end of the action when disassembled or it is too long for the bag. Function and accuracy have been on par with any other standard model I’ve owned, it’s a great little take-down.
