Anyone have experience with these. The frames crack then Beretta made a beefier frame. Do these things hold up? They look tempting to me.

I know a couple of folks with current ones and they love them. Both have arthritis in their hands and love the tip up barrel for loading.

I recall reading, years ago, about one where the frame cracked after 200 standard rounds. Beretta's response was that 200 rounds exceeded the expected service life.

I have had one for probably twenty-five years but don't have more than two hundred rounds through it. It is a "...carry alot, shoot a little" type weapon. The tip-up barrel is a plus for sure but I would recommend a KelTec P32 if I was doing it again.
If you do get one, I hope you have lots of fun with it.

My wife loves her Tomcat! She is a petite grandmother and doesn't like to get a grip on a slide to work it. That tip-up barrel is the cat's pajamas for her!

I had a Seecamp 32, bought for $379, sold for $1,000 because I couldn't get used to not using sights. I bought a j frame S&W instead.
Compared to the Seecamp, my friend's Tomcat was mediocre at best. It was gritty; had to soak the slide in gun oil to make it run. It had a horrible trigger, and was bigger than I had imagined.
Current offerings, I'd rather grab a Sig Sauer P365 or a Glock 43.
For something real small, I prefer the Beretta 950BS in 25 auto but sold the 2 I had to friends in moments of weakness.
